FRLot of Five Murano Glass Clown Figurines
Détails du produit
A collection of five hand-blown Murano glass clown figurines, produced in Italy during the mid-20th century. Murano glass clowns emerged as popular collectible items in the 1960s, allowing glassblowers to demonstrate technical versatility through the application of vibrant colors and varied textures.
The lot includes five distinct figures in various dynamic poses: two accordion players, one performing a handstand, and two standing characters. They are constructed with multicolored glass bodies, incorporating clear glass, solid bright tones, and applied glass details. The accordion player retains a partial original "Made in Murano" foil label on its base. The set is offered as a complete collection, with individual pieces available for purchase upon request. The figures range from 9 to 15cm in width, 8 to 14cm in depth, and 21 to 43cm in height. Provides a colorful, playful accent for a display cabinet, bookshelf, or side table.
Good vintage condition with specific signs of wear. The first accordion clown has a chip on its hair, and the upside-down clown has a small chip on its mouth.
