FRPair of Antique Faux Marble Octagonal Pedestals
Détails du produit
Pair of antique wooden pedestals with a hand-painted faux marbre (trompe-l'œil) finish. The technique suggests an Italian or French origin, likely intended as church furniture, theatrical props, or architectural elements in a private residence. They date likely to the late 19th or early 20th century. Uniquely, the pair varies slightly in height (85 cm and 82 cm).
Ideal for flanking a doorway, elevating sculpture or plants, or functioning as distinctive side tables in an eclectic interior.
Heavily patinated vintage condition. The painted surface shows significant wear, chipping, and losses consistent with age and use. The structures are stable.
