FRReproduction of the Gerrit Rietveld Red and Blue Chair
Détails du produit
A painted wood reproduction of the Red and Blue Chair, originally designed by Gerrit Rietveld. The chair is constructed from straight wooden boards and battens, featuring a black frame with yellow ends, a blue seat, and a red backrest. Originally conceived in 1917, Rietveld's design is a central work of the De Stijl movement, prioritizing geometric planes and primary colors over traditional upholstery.
Functions as a structural seating element or accent piece in a living space. Good vintage condition. Shows light signs of wear to the painted finish consistent with standard use.
